Fellowship for reporting on brain health and research

Brain health is at the center of some of the most consequential stories in journalism, from Alzheimer’s and autism to neuroscience breakthroughs and mental health research. A fellowship provides training for 30 journalists to cover it with depth and accuracy.

Poynter Institute, in partnership with the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (BBRF), is accepting applications for a year-long fellowship.

📌 Fellows will receive advanced training, monthly virtual workshops with personalized coaching, and an in-person convening in St. Petersburg, Florida.

💰 Travel and program costs are covered. Fellows who complete the program receive a $3,000 stipend.
