We have opening for – Senior Bioinformatics Scientist, Senior Analyst and Senior Bioinformatics Engineer.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- PhD in computer science/computational biology/AI/ML/Statistics/Mathematics with 5+ years of post-doctoral and/or industry experience in R&D genomics/bioinformatics and/or driving innovation projects.
- Excellent track record of publications in peer reviewed journals with high impact factor.
- Extensive hands-on experience with analysis and interpretation of genomics /multi-omics/single cell data/metagenomics.
- Deep understanding of factors important to NGS data analysis, experiments, protocols, QCs and troubleshooting tools, analyses and code.
- Hands-on experience in programming in one of the scripting languages.
- Understanding of knowledgebases, tools and databases related to NGS and multi-omics data analysis.
- Experience in clinical diagnostics products/solutions/studies will be a big plus.
- Strategic mindset with ability to identify and implement new solutions.
- Demonstrated success mentoring staff and building scientific teams.
Responsibilities:
- You will work in close alignment with other R&D and/or production team members as subject matter experts and are responsible for: Advising clinical development teams on opportunities and limitations of the assay/method/experiment.
- You will continuously evaluate or develop, implement, and promote innovative bioinformatics/data science methodologies, approaches, and tools to be applied in our clinical development programes.
- You will be responsible for a quick working prototype of an idea/project/analysis.
- You will analyze and interpret challenging clinical and non-clinical data, identify problems, and find solutions.
- You will collaborate with our scientific and commercial teams to evaluate the feasibility and desirability of the new projects.
- Build and understand clinical and non-clinical bioinformatics pipelines/ software/ algorithms/databases.
- Perform complex data analyses independently, as well as part of a wider project group.
- Provide high-level scientific expertise for new and ongoing research projects, contributing to all phases of a project.
- Analyze and interpret challenging clinical and non-clinical data, identify problems, and find solutions.
- Collaborate with our scientific and commercial teams to evaluate the feasibility and desirability of the new projects.
- Keep up to date with best practices and latest developments in bioinformatics data analysis.
- Produce high quality and detailed documentation for all projects in a structured manner.
