Research & Development Cosmetic Scientist Tint Cosmetics / Vijan Ventures LLP | Mumbai Only | Work From Office | Full-Time Tint Cosmetics is looking for a Cosmetic R&D Scientist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our growing team. The role will be responsible for end-to-end R&D across new product development and production batches, covering colour cosmetics, skincare, haircare and personal care. Key Responsibilities * Develop, test and optimise new cosmetic formulations from concept to production. * Conduct formulation trials, product testing and troubleshooting. * Support production batches, scale-ups and batch-to-batch consistency. * Source and evaluate raw materials and coordinate with suppliers. * Conduct and monitor stability, pH, viscosity and other relevant testing. * Maintain formulations, batch records, specifications, stability reports and R&D documentation. * Review COAs, SDS/MSDS and technical documentation for raw materials. * Troubleshoot formulation and production issues. * Ensure formulations meet applicable regulatory and quality requirements. * Coordinate closely with Production, QC, Procurement and other teams. * Research new ingredients, technologies and formulation innovations. Requirements * Minimum 2 years of experience in Cosmetic R&D/Formulation. * Degree/Diploma in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy or a related field. * Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation and testing. * Excellent documentation and organisational skills. * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to independently manage multiple projects. * Mumbai-based candidates only. * Work From Office — Mumbai.
