Hiring: Technical Operator | Flow Cytometry facility (Analyser and Sorter)| IIT Madras The Central Facility(BioSaif, Department of Biotechnology), IIT Madras is looking for a Technical Operator to support the operation and user activities associated with the BD Discover S8 Cell Sorter. 🔬 Job Responsibilities The selected candidate will be responsible for: Handling and supporting researchers with sample preparation Supporting quality control sample running and instrument operation Assisting users with data acquisition and analysis Maintaining and managing facility accounts and records Coordinating instrument slot bookings Supporting routine administrative and facility-related tasks Providing technical support for workshop and undergraduate laboratory activities.  🎓 Qualifications Candidates should have an M.Sc. or M.Tech. in: Biotechnology Biochemistry Biological Sciences 🧪 Preferred Experience Prior hands-on experience in the following areas is preferred: Cell culture Confocal microscopy Fluorescence microscopy Flow cytometry Cell sorting Molecular and Cell biology tecchniques 📩 How to Apply Interested candidates are requested to register their interest through the Google Form provided below. https://lnkd.in/dyTTSUPw 📅 Last date to register interest: 5th October 2026 Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email with further details regarding the selection process.
