We are looking for a Research Associate / Senior Research Associate to support antibody/protein purification, analytical characterization, method development and scientific documentation within our Protein Purification & Analytical – Downstream Processing (DSP) function. Key Responsibilities • Perform small- to mid-scale purification of antibodies and recombinant proteins using Protein A, Ni-NTA and related FPLC workflows. • Operate and maintain AKTA/FPLC systems and execute affinity and size-exclusion chromatography workflows. • Perform protein characterization and analytical testing, including concentration/yield determination, SDS-PAGE, Native PAGE and SEC-HPLC. • Support antibody/protein profiling using ELISA and other relevant biochemical/immunoassay techniques. • Contribute to analytical method development, process optimization and troubleshooting to improve purification efficiency, reproducibility and throughput. • Maintain accurate electronic laboratory records/LIMS documentation, analyze data and prepare technical reports and presentations. • Work closely with cross-functional research teams and communicate experimental results and project updates effectively. • Maintain laboratory organization, equipment readiness, sample traceability and compliance with applicable laboratory procedures. Essential Qualifications & Experience • M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Life Sciences or a related discipline. • Minimum 2 years of relevant R&D experience; experience in protein purification/analytical characterization is strongly preferred. • Hands-on experience with liquid chromatography/FPLC systems, preferably AKTA. • Practical experience in SDS-PAGE, Native PAGE and protein characterization techniques. • Working knowledge of protein chemistry, protein structure and antibody/protein biochemistry. • Experience with digital documentation and/or LIMS. • Experience with Expi293/CHO or other mammalian expression systems is desirable. • Strong attention to detail, multitasking, scientific documentation and communication skills.
