Postdoc Alert | New Haven, CT, USA | Apply by October 31, 2026 BioMed X is looking for a postdoctoral researcher with a strong background in mammalian neuronal cell culture and multielectrode array (MEA) recordings for our research team in New Haven, Connecticut, in collaboration with AbbVie. Anhedonia — the diminished ability to experience pleasure — is a debilitating symptom in depression and a core negative symptom in schizophrenia, yet we still don’t know which neuronal subtypes in which brain regions drive it. Team CMA, led by Dr. Kevin Keary, is mapping cell- and region-specific alterations in rodent and in vitro models to find biomarkers and future therapeutic targets. What you bring: – PhD in Neuroscience/Psychology – First-author publications – Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and stem cell differentiation – Multielectrode array recordings (MEA) – Core cell/molecular skills (ISH, western blotting, IHC) What we offer: fully funded, immediately available. NIH-aligned salary, state-of-the-art facility, significant scientific independence, and a real route into industry science. Valid US work authorization required.
