We’re hiring for two contract opportunities with AstraZeneca’s Chemical Biology and Proteomics group in Cambridge, MA. Join Discovery Sciences and help advance drug discovery through proteomics and mechanistic studies. Associate Scientist, Bioscience 💰 $37.44 per hour • A 12-month contract, with potential for extension. • This role is a fit for someone with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical biology, biological sciences, or a related field, and 1–3 years of scientific experience. You’ll contribute to discovery proteomics studies, proximity biotinylation workflows, protein conjugation and labeling, and data analysis. • Experience with mammalian cell culture, western blots, scientific figures, or proteomics sample processing is a plus. https://lnkd.in/eUKVPAet Scientist, Bioscience 💰 $49.29 per hour • A 12-month contract focused on proteomics and mechanisms of action for therapeutic agents in the cardiovascular, renal, and metabolism (CVRM) area. • Applicants should have a Ph.D. and at least 2 years of hands-on proteomics experience, or a master’s degree and 3–5 years of hands-on proteomics experience. • Experience with proteomics sample preparation, mammalian cell culture, and cell-based or proteomic assays is essential. • Experience with proximity ligation assays, LC-MS/MS, semi-automated instrumentation, or tools such as Spectronaut, Proteome Discoverer, MaxQuant, Skyline, and Xcalibur is a plus. https://lnkd.in/etEXK4pw ➡️ Interested in either opportunity?
