Research Associate-II (RA-II) Position | DBT-Funded Barnyard Millet Project**

ICAR–Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan (ICAR-VPKAS), Almora, invites applications for one position of Research Associate-II (RA-II) under the DBT-funded project:

🌾 “Genomics-assisted improvement of Barnyard Millet for enhanced yield and processing efficiency: Towards developing a nutrient-rich crop for a changing climate”

🔬 Position: Research Associate-II (RA-II)
💰 Emoluments: ₹61,000 + 9% HRA/month
📅 Duration: 2 years
📍 Place of posting: ICAR-VPKAS, Almora, Uttarakhand
🎓 Essential qualification: Ph.D. in Plant Biotechnology/Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/Genetics & Plant Breeding/Genetics, with at least one SCI-indexed research paper.

Desirable expertise: Genomics of millets and underutilized crops, genomics pipelines, and micronutrient estimation using ICP-OES.
