Reporting To : Program Director, Startup Vertical
The Program Director – Medical College MedTech Incubation Program will lead the
establishment and management of MedTech incubation centers in prominent medical colleges
across India. The role involves close coordination with medical institutions, resource persons, and
startups to build a strong ecosystem that fosters innovation in medical technology and
healthcare solutions.
Lead the setup and operationalization of MedTech incubation centres in selected medical
colleges across the country.

Oversee infrastructure development, resource mobilization, and operational planning in
alignment with institutional and program objectives.
Collaborate with resource persons under the BIOME SAMARTH Program to conduct
feedback sessions, surveys, and validation exercises for MedTech products.

Ensure structured input from clinicians and medical professionals to strengthen startup
product development.
Coordinate with incubation centre heads and coordinators in the newly established MedTech
incubators to ensure effective program delivery and knowledge exchange.

Support local teams in identifying and nurturing promising MedTech innovations emerging
from medical colleges.
F acilitate mentorship connects, expert guidance, and strategic inputs for MedTech startups.

Support startups in areas such as clinical validation, regulatory pathways, business
modelling, and market readiness.

Reporting and Governance
Report to the Startup Vertical Program Director and participate in all relevant review
meetings and planning sessions.

Maintain documentation, periodic reports, and impact assessments for all MedTech
incubation centres under the program.
Essential Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized institution.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in clinical practice, public health, or
supporting biomedical/MedTech startups.

Desirable experience in innovation management, incubation, or healthcare entrepreneurship.

Strong understanding of medical technology development, healthcare systems, and product
validation processes.
Program management and coordination.

Stakeholder engagement and networking.

Understanding of MedTech innovation and regulatory processes.

Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

Commitment to advancing healthcare innovation and translational research.
