Both projects lie at the intersection of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), nonlinear fluid–structure interaction, and biomedical engineering, aiming to bridge fundamental fluid mechanics with real-world health challenges. Both PhD projects will work closely with medical researchers and medtech industries to translate CFD insights into actionable diagnostic and design frameworks, exemplifying how advanced computational modelling can inform and transform healthcare innovation.
