We are hiring a Research Scientist II (Non-Medical) for an ICMR funded project.

Role Description
The candidate will play a key role in conducting advanced research and contributing to high-impact projects in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Core responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and analyzing research studies, managing research facilities and resources, and preparing detailed reports, publications, or presentations. The selected candidate will utilize image-enabled, spectral flow cytometry, humanized mouse models, single cell sequencing, and clinical samples to resolve the issue of drug resistance in cancer.
The candidate will also participate in grant proposals and mentor junior researchers. This is a contract-based, full-time role based on-site at the IIT Jodhpur campus in Jodhpur.

Duration
Initial appointment will be given for 6 months, which can be renewed upto 3 years based on the progress of project.

Qualifications
Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or life science field. Candidates with bulk and single cell RNA sequencing data analysis abilities will be preferred.
Proficiency in research methodologies, data collection, experimental design, and data analysis.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset with effective communication abilities to work in multidisciplinary environments.

Salary: 67,000 pm + 20% HRA
