Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Research Associate (RA) to join our team specializing in exosome research and development. Working closely with a Senior Scientist, the successful candidate will contribute to advancing our scientific and clinical projects through hands-on cell culture and molecular biology experiments.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and gain advanced training in exosome biology and related technologies.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life science field with a minimum of 4 years of lab experience, or a Master’s degree in a related discipline with at least 2 years of research experience.
– Proficiency in cell culture and molecular biology techniques like PCR, RT-PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, and immunoassays.
– Preferably, previous experience in exosome research, including isolation, purification, and functional assays.
– Familiarity with GraphPad Prism and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration with fellow scientists.
– Demonstrated capability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct and optimize cell culture experiments, including maintaining cell lines and preparing conditioned media for exosome isolation.
– Perform molecular biology and biochemical assays such as Western blotting, PCR, RT-PCR, ELISA, and immunoassays.
– Carry out exosome isolation, purification, and characterization using established protocols.
– Analyze and interpret experimental data using GraphPad Prism, Excel, and other relevant software; prepare comprehensive reports.
– Maintain accurate experimental records, ensuring reproducibility and compliance with SOPs and safety procedures.
– Collaborate with the Senior Scientist, provide regular updates, contribute to experimental design, troubleshooting, and data review.
– Manage laboratory equipment, inventory, and ensure compliance with biosafety and waste disposal guidelines.
