Job description Resource person for Academic Team

The Delhi based Joy of Learning Foundation is looking for a person to conduct experiential science sessions for school teachers and children, both online and offline. The person will go through a process of initiation into the organization’s unique methods of teaching learning of science.

Essential requirements:

• Graduation or post graduation in Biology
• Deep passion and love for all science in general
• A healthy curiosity, love for learning and a mindset of remaining an avid learner through life
• A few years of experience teaching children is highly desirable
• A degree in education is desirable but not essential
• Seeking joy in learning, exploration and seeking satisfaction through a passionate engagement in one’s work
• Good communication skills in Hindi and English are highly desirable
• The person must reside in Delhi NCR
• The candidate must be willing to travel outside of Delhi sometimes
• A love for logic, reasoning, questioning, engaging in discussions and reading is highly desirable
• Love for hands-on science, experimentation and handling actual lab activities is highly desirable
• Basic computer skills, creating text documents and ppts.

Job Description :

1. Taking online classes or offline workshops for middle, high school or senior secondary science teachers and students after a process of initiation and orientation
2. Continuous exploration of science ideas, concepts and fundamentals in a variety of resources like books, articles, other passionate people and the internet
3. Engaging in creation of new sessions through discussions, experimentation and exchange of ideas
4. Documentation of work as text, ppt, photos or short amateur videos

Office Location : Greater Noida. Visiting the office is typically once a week

Daily duration : Flexible and very often to be done from home

Emoluments : Negotiable
