JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR GENETIC COUNSELOR

Role Summary:
Greenarray is seeking a highly experienced Senior Genetic Counselor to lead our clinical counseling department. This role involves interpreting complex genomic data, providing expert patient consultations, and acting as a vital link between our diagnostic laboratory and referring clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:
* Clinical Consultations: Conduct high-level pre-test and post-test counseling for oncology, prenatal, and rare disease cases.
* Risk Assessment: Utilize advanced pedigree analysis to assess inheritance patterns and calculate recurrence risks for families.
* Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with molecular pathologists and referring doctors to determine the most appropriate testing pathways.
* Team Mentorship: Supervise and mentor junior counselors to ensure high standards of clinical communication.
* Administrative Oversight: Manage counseling schedules and ensure all patient documentation meets clinical guidelines.
* Advocacy & Support: Provide psychological support and direct patients toward relevant support groups or clinical trials.

Requirements & Qualifications:
* Education: Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Medical Genetics or Genetic Counseling.
* Certification: Must be Level I Board Certified by the BGCI (Board of Genetic Counseling, India) or an equivalent board.
* Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on clinical experience in a diagnostic or hospital setting.
* Work Protocol: This is a strictly office-based role. Remote working is not permitted.
