🎓 Eligibility & Experience Requirements
Professor
Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience post–thesis defence.

At least 4 years as Associate Professor in IITs, IISc, IIMs, IISERs, NITIE, or equivalent institutions.
Must demonstrate leadership through:
PhD/MTech guidance
High-quality publications
Patents
Research lab/course development

Associate Professor
Minimum 6 years experience post–thesis defence.
At least 3 years as Assistant Professor Grade-I (Level 12) or equivalent.
Proven record of guiding PG/PhD students, publications, patents, and professional academic contribution.

Assistant Professor Grade–I
PhD with First Class at preceding degree.
At least 3 years of teaching/research/industry experience post–thesis defence.
Strong publication record in reputable peer-reviewed journals.

Assistant Professor Grade–II
PhD with First Class.
Demonstrated research output.
Appointed on contract basis.

💼 Pay Scale
As per 7th CPC Pay Levels, aligned with IIT norms.
