Job Overview

Job Description

Now, I am looking for a Master’s student to join our team.

Master student CAR T cell therapy of pancreatic cancer - Germany

What makes this opportunity special?

You won’t just be working on an academic project that disappears into a drawer. Our work directly supports the improvement of a CAR therapy that is planned to enter the clinic NEXT year. The data you generate has a clear path towards patients and contributes to giving people a second chance at life.

What can you expect from us?

A team that is a safe space. We are direct, honest, and deeply loyal to each other. We go above and beyond for one another and expect the same commitment in return. It is a place where you can be yourself, whether you love anime, football, tinkering, or crocheting, and still contribute to cutting-edge science with flow cytometry, cloning, co-culture assays, and more.

What do we expect from you?

You are currently enrolled in a Master’s program in a relevant field.
You bring hands-on lab experience in immunology, flow cytometry, or cell culture.
You are not afraid of working under S2 conditions or with murine samples.
Most importantly: you want to learn, to contribute, and to be part of a team that is honest and caring in equal measure.

The position is based in Bergisch Gladbach, 30–45 minutes from Cologne by public transport. Duration: ideally 9 months, minimum 6. International students are more than welcome.

If you feel drawn to this, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT TICK EVERY BOX, I strongly encourage you to apply. Skills can be taught – the right attitude cannot.
I will screen every application personally with sincerity and expect the same of the applicant.

If this resonates with you, get in touch. I would be happy to tell you more about the team, the project, and why this could be a unique step in your career.
