One of our client companies, an R&D-driven biotechnology and clinical research organization based in Ahmedabad, is seeking highly motivated Experimental Scientists / Research Associates to join their research team.

The organization is seeking highly motivated Experimental Scientists / Research Associates to join their research team. The group focuses on investigating the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying disease.
Selected candidates will contribute to projects involving human cell line models, genome editing, advanced wet-lab experimental approaches and CRISPR-based functional screening.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and perform wet-lab experiments using mammalian cell culture systems
  • Conduct human cell line experiments, including transfection, gene expression analysis, and functional assays
  • Work with knockout or transgenic mouse models when required
• Perform CRISPR-based genome editing and screening experiments
  • Conduct molecular biology techniques such as:

RNA extraction
RT-PCR and qPCR
Gene expression analysis
DNA/RNA cloning and plasmid preparation
• Maintain laboratory records and analyze experimental data
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to manuscripts and research reports

Required Qualifications
Research Scientist:
• PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, or related field
Research Associate / Research Assistant:
• MSc in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field with relevant laboratory experience

Required Skills

• Experience with mammalian cell culture, particularly human cell lines
  • Hands-on experience with RT-PCR, qPCR, and gene expression analysis
  • Familiarity with CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing or screening approaches
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques and wet-lab experimentation
  • Knowledge of knockout or transgenic mouse models is highly desirable
  • Strong experimental design, troubleshooting, and data analysis skills
