Job Overview

Job Description

I have an opening for a Ph.D. position in my research group at Georgia State University starting Fall 2026. Students must have a strong background in physical chemistry, spectroscopy, and/or biophysical chemistry. Candidates with experience or interest in programming and data analysis (e.g., MATLAB, Python) are especially encouraged to apply.

We offer a collaborative environment that combines hands-on experimental training with opportunities for professional and scientific growth. If you are interested in pursuing experimental research involving advanced optical and spectroscopic techniques please email me (cdutta@gsu.edu) with a CV, transcript, and a brief statement of research interests.

Formal applications should also be submitted through the GSU Chemistry Ph.D. program by the Fall 2026 deadline.
