| Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology & Neuroscience within the New Jersey Medical School.Under the guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI), the Postdoctoral Associate conducts research on the function of connexin channels and calcium-activated potassium channels in endothelial cells or heterologous expression systems. This involves independently carrying out experiments and contributing to projects focused on the purification and reconstitution of connexin hemichannels, as well as the electrophysiological characterization of connexin channels and their mutations associated with vascular.Among the key duties of this position are the following: Participate in experimental design and carries out experiments. Operates and maintains experimental equipment. Records and analyzes data from experiments. Maintains a proper data notebook pursuant to the standards of the Department and the PI. Contribute to the intellectual development of the project. |
