The Plasma Lab at the Centre for Sustainable Technologies (CST), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, under the guidance of Prof. Lakshminarayana Rao, is inviting applications for two Project Staff positions to work on ongoing research projects. Areas of Work: The selected candidates will be involved in interdisciplinary research spanning: Water and wastewater treatment Agriculture Studies Non-thermal plasma technologies Environmental microbiology Resource recovery and sustainability Environmental monitoring and analysis Eligibility Candidates with a Graduate or Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines are encouraged to apply: Environmental Engineering Civil Engineering Chemical Engineering Chemistry Agriculture Related disciplines with relevant experience and interest Desired Skills Interest in experimental research and laboratory work Basic understanding of water/wastewater treatment processes Agriculture background Experience on Chem Work Bench modelling Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary research environment Good communication and documentation skills Field visits Location Centre for Sustainable Technologies (CST) Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru This is an excellent opportunity for motivated candidates interested in addressing sustainability challenges through cutting-edge research at the interface of engineering, chemistry, microbiology, and environmental science.
