About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Research Associate – Proteomics / Protein Characterization to support proteomics, protein characterization, and related analytical workflows. The role involves hands-on laboratory work, data analysis, and documentation for both R&D and client-driven projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform protein extraction, digestion, and sample preparation
Execute LC–MS/MS–based proteomics and protein characterization studies
Assist in metabolomics workflows
Carry out basic data processing, interpretation, and reporting
Maintain GLP-compliant documentation and lab records
Operate analytical instruments as per SOPs and safety guidelines
Support senior scientists in research and client projects
Eligibility / Qualifications
MSc / MTech / BSc / BTech in Biotechnology, Biochemistry.
Candidates with prior experience or academic exposure in Proteomics and/or Metabolomics will be preferred
Basic knowledge of LC-MS/MS, protein chemistry, peptide mapping, or intact mass analysis is desirable
Familiarity with proteomics data analysis tools is an advantage
Strong interest in proteomics and protein characterization
Good laboratory practices and scientific documentation skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Effective communication and teamwork skills
