We’re looking for a Research Scientist (Synthetic Biology / Plant Sciences) to join our team and help build the future of sustainable structural proteins 🌱
📍 Location: Edinburgh, UK (IMPS, University of Edinburgh)
🧬 Focus: Molecular cloning, transient expression in plants, recombinant protein production
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of synthetic biology, molecular farming, and protein engineering and to contribute to a platform aimed at replacing animal-derived proteins with scalable, plant-based alternatives.
You’ll be working closely with the founding team and leading cutting-edge R&D in a fast-growing biotech startup environment.
