Job Description
We are recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow / Senior Postdoctoral Fellow to join my group in the Somatic Genomics Programme Wellcome Sanger Institute.
This role offers the opportunity to work on fundamental questions in human somatic evolution, including:
How mutations accumulate across tissues
The impact of environmental and clinical exposures (e.g. chemotherapy)
The consequences for disease risk and inheritance
You’ll work at the interface of genomics, computation, and evolutionary biology, using large-scale sequencing data.
We are looking for candidates with strong quantitative/computational skills who are excited to develop independent research in a collaborative environment.
