Job Description
Omniose was founded in 2016 based on the pioneering bioconjugation discoveries of our scientific founder Christian Harding. The research operations were established at BioGenerator Labs in St. Louis, and the company was previously known as VaxNewMo. In January 2024, the company announced an exclusive collaboration agreement with AstraZeneca for up to three years to research potential vaccines for bacterial pathogens.
Omniose is seeking a Scientist I-IV level position to accelerate development of its bioconjugate vaccine pipeline and platform. It is essential that the individual be self-motivated and excited about working in a start-up biotech environment. Like biotech companies before us, our scientific team is the company’s greatest asset and the engine that drives innovation and value creation.

- Up and downstream associated activities for the purification and analytical characterization of bioconjugate vaccines, including, but not limited to, shake-flask bacterial growth, cell harvesting, cell lysis, protein purification, and western blotting.
- Scientific writing in the form of patent applications, manuscripts and grant writing.
- Dynamic laboratory bench work.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

- Experience with protein characterization via SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, and purification with state-of-the-art AKTA FPLC equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills required.
- Flexibility in handling rapidly shifting priorities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
