Job Description
We are recruiting a PPU PhD student at Institut Pasteur!
This project combines AI, structural biology, and biophysics to tackle one of the hardest problems in drug discovery: making protein–protein interactions (PPIs) druggable.
We will build InDeep v2, a deep learning model that transforms peptide binders into drug-like small molecules. As a test case, the project focuses on the E. coli divisome hub FtsQ, a central node in bacterial cell division and a high-value antimicrobial target.
The outcome: a generalizable AI-to-drug workflow validated on FtsQ, but reusable across many other infectious disease targets.
