📢 Hiring Announcement | Faculty Positions (Assistant Professor, Associate professor and Professor)  – Biotechnology & Microbiology

Sister Nivedita University (SNU), Kolkata, is pleased to announce the recruitment of full-time faculty members for the Department of Microbiology and the Department of Biotechnology.
As part of our long-term academic and research expansion, we are working towards establishing a Centre of Excellence in Microbiological and Biotechnological Research. We are seeking motivated academics and researchers who can actively contribute to this vision through teaching, research, innovation, and collaboration.

🎓 Areas of Specialization (Preferred)
We are tentatively looking for experts in, but not limited to, the following domains:
Bioinformatics
Biophysics
Immunology
Neurobiology
Agricultural Biotechnology
Industrial Biotechnology
Applicants working in other relevant or emerging domains may also be considered based on departmental requirements.

🧬 Essential Qualifications
PhD in a relevant discipline from a recognized institute/university (mandatory)
Minimum 2–3 years of Postdoctoral research experience from a reputed international or national institutes
Preference will be given to candidates with B.Tech and M.Tech credentials in the relevant field
Strong publication record, research experience, and demonstrated potential for independent research and grant acquisition

💼 Compensation:
Salary will not be a constraint for exceptionally deserving candidates.
