Job Description

Applications are invited for a fully funded PhD position in my research group at Department of Biotechnology at Bennett University (The Times Group), Greater Noida. Our lab aims to translate mechanistic insights into next-generation diagnostics, therapeutics, and delivery platforms.

PhD Project Areas:
Candidate may work in one or more of the following domains:
1. Mycobacterial pathogenesis and persistence
2. Host–pathogen interaction and immune evasion
3. Drug discovery, repurposing, and mechanism-of-action studies
4. Novel vaccine design and evaluation
5. Biomaterials for drug delivery (hydrogels, liposomes, nanoparticles)
6. Immunomodulation in infectious and non-infectious diseases

Eligibility: Good academic record with Master’s in Biotechnology/Life Science/Microbiology/Nanobiotechnology or in related fields.

Interested candidate should have in-depth knowledge and experience in hashtag#MolecularBiology,hashtag#Immunology and hashtag#Microbiology. Additionally candidate may have experience or interest in development and characterization of efficient drug delivery systems (Hydrogels/Liposome/Nanoparticles).

NET/JRF/GATE qualified candidate having experience in Immunology and studying Host-pathogen Interaction with good writing and presentation skills shall be preferably considered.

Funding
₹40,000/month fellowship for eligible full-time PhD scholars (including Non-JRF/GATE candidates) as per Bennett University norms
Opportunities for travel grants to attend national/international conferences
