Job Description
Our Lab is hiring for 1-2 new PhD students at the New Jersey Institute of Technology for Fall 2026 – Come join a vibrant and multidisciplinary Biomedical Engineering department (and be close to NYC!). Specifically looking for people with experience in one or more of the following: 1) Handling small animals, traumatic brain injury (or stroke or neonatal hypoxic injuries), blood-brain barrier models, ultrasound contrast agents.
2) Protein design (including experimental protein expression and/or computational protein design (AI/ML approaches), protein-based immunoengineering. Animal experience a plus.
BS in Bio or Chemical Engineering, Chem/Biochemistry/Biology; MS preferred.
