Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Opportunity at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU)
Excellent opportunity to work as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in extramural funded research projects in my research group, with potential opportunities for pursuing a PhD at Gujarat Biotechnology University.
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates interested in cutting-edge research in the following areas:
1. Production of health-promoting bioactive carbohydrates using enzymatic approaches
2. Discovery of novel enzymes using AI-based tools
3. Molecular biology and functional genomics of bacteria involved in carbohydrate metabolism
Our research group focuses on developing novel bioactive carbohydrates through enzymatic and biotechnological strategies. The generated carbohydrate products are systematically evaluated for their ability to enhance the growth and activity of probiotic bacterial strains, contributing toward sustainable and value-added health solutions.
