A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the laboratory of Drs. Alexander Mankin and Nora Vázquez-Laslop at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC).
We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to contribute to research focused on engineering the ribosome for synthetic biology applications and for understanding the fundamental mechanisms of translation.
Applicants with the relevant experience in biochemical engineering, ribosome biology, molecular biology, genetics, microbiology and biochemistry are particularly encouraged to apply.
