Exciting opportunity to join my team at Cancer Research Horizons!

We’re hiring a Senior Scientist (Biochemistry & Biophysics) at our Babraham site to play a key role in our drug discovery efforts against cancer.

In this lab-based position, you’ll provide scientific leadership in characterising small molecule mechanisms in vitro, with a strong emphasis on mechanistic enzymology, detailed enzyme kinetic studies, biochemical assay development, and translating that data into cellular insights. You’ll help drive hit identification, generate high-quality SAR data, and directly impact our portfolio of innovative cancer therapeutics.

We’re looking for someone with:
• Proven expertise in mechanistic enzymology and enzyme kinetics
• Deep experience in designing, developing, and running biochemical assays
• A background in industrial drug discovery (highly desirable)
• Passion for turning cutting-edge science into real-world impact against cancer
