Job Description

Prof. INDRANI DATTA lab at NIMHANS is looking for candidates to fill two JRF positions for a CCRH funded project with possibility of extending to PhD.
Requirement:

1. CSIR, UGC, DBT-BET cleared or DST Inspire fellow.

2. M.Tech OR M.Sc in any field of Life sciences/ Biotechnology/ Physiology / Biophysics/ Biochemistry. Send an Email (provided in the NIMHANS notification).

During the course of the project, candidate will learn to culture iPSCs, differentiation of iPSCs to midbrain organoids, Confocal imaging, Live cell fluorescence imaging, Flow cytometry, Multi-Electrode array (MEA) for electrophysiology from iPSC derived midbrain organoids. He/She will gain expertise in biochemical (WB and qRT-PCR) & other biophysical techniques (Ultracentrifugation, Spectrophotometry, Dynamic Light Scattering).

Candidates will be encouraged to apply for PhD (depending upon their performance, enthusiasm and research aptitude).
