Job Description

Project title: Mechanisms of chimeric peptide production and targeting dipeptide repeat toxicity in C9orf72-associated ALS/FTD
Job description: To conduct project-related experimental research work, analyse and interpret data assigned by the PI.
Funding agency: Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India
Duration of the project: 7 months, with a possibility of further extension based on performance and funding availability.

Monthly compensation
a) Rs. 37,000 + HRA as applicable for scholars selected through GATE/ CSIR-UGC NET or any other National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions.
b) Rs. 31,000 + HRA as applicable for scholars who do not fall under (a) selection category
Minimum eligibility requirements
MTech in any area of Life Sciences/Biotechnology, MSc degree in any allied area of Life Sciences/Biotechnology, BTech/BPharm/BE (4-years degree programme) in any allied area of Life Sciences/Biotechnology, BVSc, MBBS, with minimum 60% marks.
Note: Degree should have been awarded
Desirable qualifications
Experience in molecular cloning, working with model organisms such as yeast and/or Drosophila
Age limit 28 Years
