Job Description
WE ARE HIRING! A postdoctoral research position is available in the Hamid Research Group in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Auburn University.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a Ph.D. in chemistry or a closely related field and a strong background in mass spectrometry; having experience in ion mobility spectrometry is a plus. The successful candidate will be involved in our fundamental and application efforts in the diagnosis of infectious diseases and Alzheimer’s Disease using ambient ionization and ion mobility mass spectrometry-based methods.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate excellent technical and communication skills and show enthusiasm for working on multiple interdisciplinary projects.
