We’re Hiring | Scientific Officer – NGS (Illumina Platform) 📍 Location: Gurugram, Haryana 🏢 Company: CORE Diagnostics, A unit of Metropolis Healthcare CORE Diagnostics is looking for a skilled Scientific Officer with hands-on experience in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and the Illumina sequencing platform. If you have practical experience in end-to-end NGS workflows, library preparation, and sequencing run operations, we would love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Perform end-to-end NGS sample processing and library preparation. Carry out library quantification, quality checks, normalization, and pooling. Operate Illumina sequencing instruments and manage sequencing run setup. Monitor sequencing runs and review quality metrics Perform post-sequencing quality checks and coordinate with the bioinformatics team for data processing. Troubleshoot library preparation and sequencing-related issues. Maintain laboratory documentation, SOPs, quality records, and equipment logs. Ensure adherence to laboratory quality standards, safety protocols, and turnaround-time requirements. Requirements: MSc/MTech in Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field. Hands-on experience in NGS library preparation and Illumina sequencing workflows. Knowledge of DNA/RNA quantification, library QC, and sequencing run setup. Experience with WES, WGS, targeted panels, or RNA sequencing will be an advantage.
