Position (2 openings)
The Senior Research Analyst will be responsible for performing routine and non‑routine analytical testing to support product development, in‑process analysis, release testing, and stability programs. The role requires strong hands-on experience with biochemical and instrumental analytical techniques such as ELISA, SDS‑PAGE and Western Blot, along with method development and qualification as per ICH guidelines. The position also involves documentation, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Analytical Testing & Method Execution
- Perform routine testing using ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, and other relevant assays such as qPCR.
- Conduct sample preparation, system suitability checks, instrument calibration, and analysis as per approved test procedures.
- Execute and supervise method qualification/verification activities.
- Support in-process, release, and stability testing for vaccines.
- Analytical thinking with problem-solving approach.
Documentation & Compliance
- Document all activities in laboratory notebooks following ALCOA+ principles.
- Prepare and review SOPs and analytical test reports.
Troubleshooting & Instrument Maintenance
- Perform routine instrument maintenance and coordinate with vendors for calibration/service.
- Troubleshoot method and instrument issues to minimize downtime.
Team Collaboration & Support
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Process, QA, R&D) to ensure timely sample testing.
- Provide training to junior analysts on laboratory techniques and safety practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and laboratory upgrades.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in running ELISA, including plate handling, standard curve analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with SDS‑PAGE and Western Blot (sample prep, electrophoresis, imaging, densitometry).
- Knowledge of ICH guidelines and understanding of assay validation concepts.
- Familiarity with biological samples, protein quantification, and general wet-lab techniques.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
- Good communication skills for documentation and cross-functional interactions.
- Ability to multitask and meet timelines.
Education
- M.Sc. / M.Tech in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
