At Jubilant Biosys, we’re expanding our technology transfer team and are looking for passionate, driven candidate to join us.

If you have hands-on experience in leading end-to-end technology transfer (TT) from R&D to pilot and commercial scale, we’d love to connect. In this role, you will drive seamless scale-up strategies by understanding process chemistry, impurity profiles, and plant-specific requirements, while designing “what-if” scenarios to ensure robustness under varying operating conditions.
You will prepare, review, and approve TT protocols, validation plans, scale-up reports, and equipment equivalence documents, ensuring successful transfer and commercialization of new molecules. Strong expertise in process safety is essential, including identification of required studies (RC, DSC, powder safety) and interpretation of safety data to enable informed decision-making.
The position requires deep technical capability in reaction engineering, heat and mass transfer, and unit operations such as distillation, extraction, crystallization, filtration, and drying (RVD, ANFD, VTD), along with mixing and agitation scale-up (P/V, NJS). Hands-on experience with tools such as DynoChem and MixIT for kinetics, safety, and scale-up is highly desirable.
You will act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for TT activities, collaborating closely with R&D, Production, QA, Engineering, and EHS teams to ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and process requirements. Additionally, you will lead risk assessments through What-if and HAZOP studies, identify process hazards, and implement effective mitigation strategies, ensuring safe handling of hazardous chemistries and timely resolution of scale-up challenges and process deviations.
