We’re hiring at Bionema Group Limited

This is a role I have been building towards for some time:
Senior Microbiologist / Biofilm Formulation Scientist
Swansea, UK | Full-time | On-site laboratory role

We need someone who works beyond a single organism.

This is a hands-on product-development role covering biofilm systems, microbial consortia, PGPR, formulation, encapsulation, WDG, WP, OD, viability, stability testing and scale-up support.

It is not a purely academic research position.

Bionema holds two The King’s Awards for Enterprise, Innovation 2024 and Sustainable Development 2026, and Bionema technologies were acquired by Syngenta in 2021.

We are a biological crop protection and plant health technology platform company working across biopesticides, biostimulants, biofertilisers, encapsulation and biofilm delivery systems.

This role sits right at the centre of that platform.

Requirements:
1️⃣ PhD required. Minimum 5 years post-PhD experience.
2️⃣ Salary: £42,000–£55,000, depending on experience.
3️⃣ Closing date: 15 July 2026.
