Job Description
Scientific Assistent position.
The Gallini Lab at EPFL is seeking a highly motivated Scientific Assistant holding a Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field but not a PhD degree, with a optimal starting date of September 2026. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and application of advanced experimental models to study tissue homeostasis, regeneration, and disease. Projects will involve the establishment and characterization of 3D epithelial culture systems, intravital imaging of the skin and other organs in vivo and the integration of molecular, cellular, and imaging approaches.
The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment with access to state-of-the-art imaging and molecular biology technologies. It may serve as a pathway toward a PhD position in the laboratory, and highly motivated candidates interested in pursuing doctoral studies are encouraged to apply.
Interested applicants should send to sara.gallini@epfl.ch a CV, a brief statement describing their research interests and motivation, and contact information for references.
