We’re Hiring: Research Associate – Seaweed R&D MariTide Aquatech LLP is looking for an enthusiastic early-career scientist to join our seaweed research and cultivation team in Devgad, Maharashtra. This is a hands-on role involving: 🔬 Seaweed culture maintenance and sporulation 🧪 Wet-lab experiments and nutrient analysis 🌱 Germling growth and cultivation trials 📊 Data analysis, documentation, and SOP development 🌊 Occasional fieldwork and coordination with cultivation teams Who can apply? • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field • Candidates with 1–3 years of wet-lab experience are preferred • Strong candidates with relevant dissertation or project experience may also apply • Experience in seaweed, algae, tissue culture, aquaculture, UV spectrophotometry, nutrient analysis, or molecular biology will be an advantage 📍 Location: Devgad, Maharashtra 💼 Type: Full-time, on-site 💰 Salary: ₹35,000 per month (₹4.2 LPA) Benefits include: • Company-provided accommodation • Breakfast and lunch • Transport between the accommodation and work site • Quarterly reimbursement for hometown travel If you enjoy practical research, troubleshooting experiments, and working in a growing science-led organization, we would be happy to hear from you. 📩 Send your CV and a short note describing your relevant laboratory or seaweed experience to payal@maritide.earth Subject: Research Associate – Devgad Please share this opportunity with suitable candidates in your network.
