Fully funded 3-year PhD position in my team at MMSB – Molecular Microbiology and Structural Biochemistry (CNRS/Universitรฉ Lyon I) starting early 2027 ๐จ We are seeking candidates passionate about molecular microbiology, bacterial genetics and signal transduction, with a hands-on lab experience and curiosity for fundamental research. The project will explore how bacteria regulate their growth in response to environmental changes and combine genetics, biochemistry and cell biology to uncover the molecular mechanisms behind bacterial adaptation using Caulobacter crescentus as a model organism.
