Job Description

PhD Position: RNA Structural Biology and Biophysics Applications are invited from motivated candidates for a fully funded PhD position in the area of RNA structural biology and biophysics. Research area: The project will explore the structure, dynamics and function of RNA molecules using structural and biophysical approaches. Possible methods include NMR, SAXS, calorimetry (ITC), and other techniques. Funding: The position is fully funded for the duration of the PhD. Eligibility: M.Sc./M.Tech./MS (or equivalent) in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, Life Sciences or a related field. Qualification in CSIR/UGC-NET, DBT, ICMR, GATE, or equivalent is desirable. Strong interest in structural biology, nucleic acids or molecular biophysics. Prior hands-on experience in molecular biology, protein/RNA purification or biophysical techniques is an advantage, but not required.
