Job Description

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 | Intern (Genomics service) Bengaluru, India (On-site) CrisprBits Private Limited   At CrisprBits, we are building cutting-edge CRISPR-based solutions across diagnostics and genome engineering. We are looking for an intern to support our genomics team with CRISPR scale-up, high-throughput cell cultures, and manual assays for drug discovery in a fast-growing startup. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀  • Cell Line Engineering: Edit immortalized lines, cancer lines and human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) utilizing CRISPR-Cas9 to create clonal or pooled populations.  • Cell Culture Operations: Perform routine maintenance, expansion, feeding, and cryopreservation.  • Molecular Analysis: Extract genomic DNA, run PCR, perform gel electrophoresis, and analyse Sanger sequencing data.  • Process Optimization: Partner with molecular biology and R & D teams to test new technologies and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).   𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮  An M.Sc. Degree in molecular biology, cell biology, bioengineering, or a related life sciences field.   𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀   • Hands-on mammalian cell culture experience, genomic DNA extraction, and CRISPR transfection methods.   • Identify routine process or equipment issues and troubleshoot under supervision when appropriate.  • Support multiple production workflows and adapt to changing priorities as needed.  • Maintain inventory of laboratory products, reagents, and supplies, including material requests and inventory updates as needed  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support production timelines and resolve routine operational needs.   Interested people can 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗩 to hr@crisprbits.com
