Project Title: Development of an Indigenous Engineered Escherichia coli Chassis for High-Yield Production of Electrically Conductive Protein Nanowires for Bioelectronics and Energy Applications The project involves interdisciplinary research at the interface of: 1. Molecular Biology & Microbial Genetics 2. Recombinant DNA Technology & E. coli Engineering 3. Protein Expression & Purification 4. Electrochemistry, Bioelectronics & Energy Applications 5. Development of microbial platforms for next-generation bioelectronic materials Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 position Fellowship: ₹37,000/month + applicable HRA (Years 1–2) Year 3: ₹42,000/month + applicable HRA, subject to upgradation and satisfactory performance Location: Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer, Rajasthan Eligibility: Candidates with an M.Sc./M.Tech. in relevant areas of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related disciplines, along with a valid national-level eligibility qualification as specified in the advertisement (GATE, NET, etc), are encouraged to apply. Candidates with research experience in molecular biology, microbial genetics, recombinant DNA technology, E. coli cultivation/engineering, protein expression or purification, microbiology, electrochemistry, biosensors or bioelectronics will be particularly encouraged.
