We are hiring a Postdoctoral Fellow in Mechanics of Breast Cancer at National Centre for Biological Sciences A DBT Team Science grant-funded, multi-institutional collaborative research programme. What We’re Looking For A PhD in biophysics, bioengineering, chemical/ mechanical engineering, cell/cancer biology, materials science, or a closely related field. Hands-on experience in one or more of: mammalian 3D cell culture, hydrogel/biomaterials fabrication, live-cell or confocal imaging and image analysis, or rheology/mechanical characterization. Curiosity that crosses disciplinary lines — you don’t need to know it all already, but you should want to. What’s on Offer A place in a well-equipped, interdisciplinary lab at NCBS, with access to all necessary facilities across the partner institutes. Full funding through the DBT-supported project, with a stipend as per standard DBT norms, for the duration of the grant. A genuinely multi-institutional experience spanning NCBS, IISc, inStem, and IIT Madras. Salary: As per DBT guidelines.
