Job Description
We are still recruiting for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Kovalski Lab @ UNC-Chapel Hill 🧪 Are you fascinated by the interface of RNA biology and cancer research? Do you want contribute to the future of RNA translation targeted cancer therapies? Apply to join us: https://lnkd.in/ekZF_i-7 Located in the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, we seek to understand how cancer hijacks RNA biology processes to drive tumor progression. We are looking for a motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our team to tackle how RNA binding proteins are functionally repurposed during oncogenic transformation to rewire the cancer cell proteome. Our approach combines cutting-edge tools — RNA structure probing, proximity proteomics, transcriptomewide RBP binding, ribosome profiling, and in vivo cancer models — to decode the post-transcriptional regulatory code in cancer. UNC-Chapel Hill and the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center offer an exceptionally collaborative and resource-rich environment for postdoctoral training, with access to world-class core facilities and a vibrant cancer research community.
