Job Description

A postdoctoral fellow position is available in Dr. Victor Pike’s laboratory within the Molecular Imaging Branch (MIB) at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in Bethesda, Maryland.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for highly motivated applicants seeking postdoctoral training in the development of novel radiotracers for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of the human brain in neuropsychiatric disorders.
The laboratory focuses on two complementary areas: the discovery and development of novel PET radiotracers for brain imaging, and the advancement of radiochemistry methods that support radiotracer development. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary research environment focused on translating novel PET radiotracers into applications for human brain imaging.
Please see the attachment for full position details. Applicants should submit a letter of interest outlining their chemistry and related research experience, along with an up-to-date CV, to Dr. Pike at victor.pike@nih.gov
