We are hiring! Postdoctoral Position in Targeted Nanomedicine & Cardiovascular Preclinical Models Are you passionate about bridging protein engineering and translational cardiovascular research? We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join a collaborative project between the Oncogenesis and Antitumoral Drugs Group (GOA), led by Dr. Ugutz Unzueta, and the Pathophysiology of Lipid-Related Diseases Group (PLRD), led by Dr. Noemí Rotllan, at the Sant Pau Research Institute (IR Sant Pau) in Barcelona. 🔬 The Project: Funded by Horizon Europe 🇪🇺 (UNSOLVED-CARDS, Horizon-HLTH-2026-01-DISEASE-11), exploring sex-specific and shared mechanisms in cardiovascular disease to develop targeted therapies. 🎯 Key Scope: • Rational design, production, and characterization of cell-targeted protein nanoparticles. • Cellular biodistribution in cardiovascular cell types (VSMCs, ECs, macrophages). • In vivo preclinical validation, biodistribution (IVIS), and safety/efficacy in atherosclerosis mouse models. 💼 Offer details: • Duration: 4 years and 9 months (Full-time). • Location: IR Sant Pau, Barcelona. • Starting date: January 2027. • Salary: ~€35,000 gross/year. 📩 How to apply: Send your CV, cover letter, and contact info for 2 referees to uunzueta@santpau.cat and nrotllanv@santpau.cat with the subject line “Postdoc Application – UNSOLVED-CARDS”. 👉 Swipe through the attached document below for the full job description and requirements!
